Scrapbook LOVE, girly style!

I can't help it!  I HAVE a girl, I AM a girl, and I LOVE bling...

It's a BEAUTIFUL problem...

Especially, when you combine products from Want2Scrap® and My Little Shoebox!

Don't you just LOVE "daughter", all 3-D and accented with a touch of color and sparkle!  Shhhh!  It's really the word "Goddaughter!" {I'm saving "God" for ANOTHER project!} Although Want2Scrap® chipboard products are heavy duty, and AMAZING!, they snip easily for customizing!

And SPEAKING of the wonders of Want2Scrap® - Don't EVER underestimate us!  Even the PACKAGING is useful!  I save my leftovers as a palette for gluing and embellishing...   Glittered and glued embellishments DON'T stick to the packaging, so they make an excellent work surface!

 

Just a hint of easy to apply color with some Clearsnap, pops a custom hue, accented with some all-purpose Rock Candy Distress Stickles from Tim Holtz and Ranger...  Mmmmm, hmmm, the PERFECT recipe for fun and fat free EYE candy!  Yumm-O!  {I LOVE our sport!}

Oh, and I love my lil' girl, too!  That's why it's SUCH a blast to scrapbook her wee little face and life's adventures, using products, and ESPECIALLY bling, from Want2Scrap®.  I sure hope I've inspired YOU to bling up some scrappy fun in YOUR day!

One thing you ALREADY know, if you hang your hat around these parts on a fairly regular basis is...   EVERYTHING, and we DO mean, EVERYTHANG...  Looks BETTER with bling!

That's right, I said it. 

"YEE HAW"

There's EVEN room for more bling, in the art of vintage looking western signage...

Want2Scrap® has SO many GORGEOUS accessories and patterns of bling that are sure to make the oldest, most grizzled COWPOKE fall in love with Want2Scrap®.  But in CASE you're a doubter, let me take you through a lil' tutorial.  On this ride, you'll learn  how I managed to SPARE the life of one, shabby little piece of ANCIENT barn wood, SAVE it from destruction in the firePLACE at my lil' old ranch, and then transform it to an object of LOVE and enjoyment, to hopefully live out its next 100 years...!

Simply print desired word/s/phrase to desired size and line up on wooden board.

Plan the layout of your sign.  In the plan, anticipate the use of Want2Scrap® bling.  For this design, I fell in love {ALL OVER, AGAIN!} with Classy Corners, by Nina B. {Well, WHO could blame me!}

Be sure to cut off excess paper, and then tape to the front of wooden board.   Trace all edges of printed letters, FIRMLY, with a hard gage pencil.  {I prefer to use a pencil over a stylus for this.} Press FIRM!

An impression will be made in the wood that can be covered and filled, directly, with acrylic paint. 

 It's pretty easy to look like an old hand, with this technique, and you're bound to impress the cowpokes in your crew...  {And WHAT a handsome gift this would make!  Eh?}

Yup.  Fellas...   A project so QUICK and easy, it might just MAKE me the Sheriff of BLING...

Gettin' it ALL done in time for the Holidays, sometimes means we feed the family with

Ornaments to REMEMBER!

Hello, to YOU!  All the lovers of bling and the GREAT Want2Scrap® thing!  It is I, Elise, & I bid you tidings of GREAT, blinged-out holiday joy and adorable memories!

For your holiday inspiration, I have assembled a handsome assortment of delightful Want2Scrap® products and goodies galore, to dazzle your crafty, scrappy side... So..., if you have the means, I recommend a large frothy cup of peppermint mocha and a notepad, uh, r, SHOPPING list....{!} You're gonna WANT2Scrap!  {LOL}

Scrapbook memories do NOT have to be confined to an album.  Why NOT celebrate some memories of the most WONDERFUL time of the year, right thar on ye old Christmas tree!  The most GLORIOUS time of year + Want2Scrap® bling = the MOST sparkly thing!  My job is to INSPIRE you to use PHOTOGRAPHS to embellish your holiday tree.

Start with photographs of your choosing, reduced by 50%, as shown...

Select Want2Scrap® Nestaboard shapes to become the foundation of your ornament, and then prepare background.  For the "boy" ornament, I busted out my old favorite, faux woodgrain, using a home decor wood-graining tool and acrylic paint, direct to Nestaboard.

Just apply paint, then drag the tool in one direction, gently, but firmly rocking the handle, to create this extraordinary, but easy wood grain effect.

With proper backdrop and STUNNING Nestabling®, ornaments are READY to shine!  Using Chipboard Sentiments, Words of Love, I had ALL the sentiment I could use, to illustrate HOW happy these memories make me!   J-O-Y is the word, and JOY is how I felt, embellishing these LOVELY letters with Designer Foil! I'm DEFINITELY feeling the L-O-V-E!

Can YOU feel the it, the sparkly the MAGIC of Christmas, blinged out with Want2Scrap®? 

But, WAIT!  There's MORE! 

Nothing calls for a lil' EXTRA sugar, like the holidays!  Lookee HOW glorious this word looks embellished with Sugar Shimmer, Fairy Dust Glimmer from Clearsnap!  I'm SO in LOVE, I have GOT to LAUGH!  {LOL}  Oh, THAT lil' girl makes me laugh, too.  She NEVER sat with Santa!  This is my FAVORITE picture, because the camera literally, caught her, mid BOLT off of Santa's lap!  Hard to fault a girl for NOT wanting to hang with a stranger in a red suit...  Sigh.  Memories!

to receive high score... I'll even wager, a BEST of SHOW

Park yourself in the winner's circle, you'll want to take
a closer look at the before and after... Then off to the

I had a FINE time blingin' up this here horse-shoe banner
for a sparklin', custom embellie - it was SO fun and easy
to make, I was inspired to whip out my GUITAR and sing
about it, but....! A few suggestions on how to MAKE ONE
for YOURSELF will have to suffice... for now.

From this fun collection of COWBOY stickers, punch
multiple, same sized circles from cardstock in neutral
colors. Adhere stickers to one of the circle layers,
ink edges. With more cardstock circles,
lay out a line for the banner, measuring
the distance of one, large sized rhinestone
bling, from the 72 Count - Silver Rhinestone
collection from Want2Scrap®.

Secure twine to the centers of each circle in the banner.
(Length of banner to be determined by your project
needs, and the amount of these GREAT stickers from
Robin's Nest!) I recommend purchasing in multiples!
- Just sayin'! With a standard sized hole punch, punch
circles to correspond with large Silver Rhinestones.
Place behind twine, in between large circles. Glue top
piece of sticker covered cardstock circle, OVER the
twine and to the bottom cardstock circle. Add glue to
the large Silver Rhinestone bling and adhere over the
twine and to the small punched cardstock circle. {The
glue will fill the gaps around the twine}

~Wouldn't this make a FUN bracelet!?!~
