Altered Bottle

Hello Want2Scrap friends, Lovita here!!
Today I have for you an awesomely altered wine bottle!

I started with a clean, empty wine bottle. I did not remove the bottle labels. I began by covering the exposed area of the glass with lace applique from my personal stash. I adhered it to the glass using Beacon Fabri-Tac glue. This glue is awesome for permanently adhering items to glass. I used Want2Scrap chipboard embellishments Style A, Stylish Key, Fleur de Lis and a Vintage Fancy Frame and painted them with Color Box Mix'd Media Inx - Leather using the Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool. The painted pieces were sealed using Mod Podge - Satin.

The Fleur de Lis and Vintage Fancy Frame chipboard items were glued to the bottle using Beacon Fabri-Tac glue. I bore a hole in the top of the cork large enough for part of the Style A chipboard bottom to fit inside snugly. It was then attached permanently using hot glue. The cork is wrapped with rhinestone chain. Jute twine is used as an accent on the Vintage Fancy Frame and wrapped around the top of the bottle opening with a little White Frizzly Yarn.

Want2Scrap Bulk Bling Pearls, 12" Sleek Strips Pearls and Swirls Finesse Pearls were used in the LeCreme color. The 12" Sleek Strips were placed around the perimeter of the label on the rear of the bottle and on the Stylish Key. I placed one Bulk Bling Pearl on the front and back of Style A chipboard embellishment. The Swirls Finesse and Bulk Bling Pearls were added to the Vintage Fancy Frame. Finally green flowers and turquoise mini roses were glued to the Vintage  Fancy Frame, Fleur de Lis and the rim of the bottle opening just above the Stylish Key.

HAPPY CRAFTING!

Good afternoon from the sunny side of the mountains!!!  Here's to another year of more traveling adventures!!  I'm still working on pictures from Germany and yet I have another trip to the sunny state of California right around the corner.  YAY!!  That just means more adventures and more pictures to scrap.  Gotta love it!!!

I used a mixture of products for this one.  Paper is from Kaisercraft, ephemera from Tim Holtz and bling from Want2Scrap.  I alternated 72 Count - Black Rhinestones - Self Adhesive  and Nestabling Labels Eighteen - Black from one side of the globe to the other side of the globe on the next page.

Stylish Key (4 Pack)  painted with the NUVO mousse and placed on top of Braid 3/4" Linen

Happy scrapping!!

Want2Scrap Christmas Past Layout

Hello Want2Scrap friends, thanks so much for stopping by!  It is Linda here sharing a layout created using Want2Scrap© products.   I have used some of my favourite Swirls and chipboard word that are in the Want2Scrap© shop - they are worth checking out!  I have to be honest and say I have had these photos printed for sometime - so am very happy to have the Beautiful Script Chipboard Word to get to motivated.

This layout is from a number of years back and we had the privilege of having a dear friend and one of her daughters here for Christmas - we all met when two of ours started preschool and the families have been good friends ever since - hence - Christmas past!  The photos have been mounted onto white card stock

I have used some patterned paper from Kaisercraft Mint Wishes Collection to create this layout, I have trimmed the top and torn the bottom if the patterned paper - this has been adhered onto White card stock using double sided tape. Next I have embossed a piece of paper from the same collection using Spellbinders Cabbage Roses Embossing Folder, this has been lightly sanded and adhered to the layout base using Double Sided Premium Tape.

Next the photo have been cut/embossed using Matting Basics Dies, these have been lightly sanded around the edges to distress and add the impression of another layer. The photos have been layered onto white card stock, one below the other and popped up onto the embossed layer using Crafty Foam Tape for dimension.  Next the Shapeabilities Corner Floral Etched Dies Flower Garden by Sharyn Sowell have been cut using white card stock using the flower Die and the base Flower Die has been used to cut/emboss turquoise papers. The two layers have been glued together and popped up onto the top left corner of the photos. Swirls Finesse - Silver Rhinestones - 2 Pack -Self Adhesive have been trimmed to size and adhered either side of the roses.

The sentiment from the Kaisercraft Collection has been trimmed and adhered to the right of the photo and a strip of trees added above the last row.  A Sticker from the Collection has been popped up onto a Standard Circle using 3D Foam Squares, a portion of the Swirls Finesse - Silver Rhinestones  has been added to the right side.

The  Christmas - Beautiful Script Chipboard Word has been sponged using Imagine Memento Ink in Teal Zeal and had a white wash added over the top. This has been adhered across the bottom photo using liquid glue at each end.  I have finished off with some of the sticker trims from Kaisercraft.

Want2Scrap - Now is the Time

Hello Want2Scrap friends, it is Linda here again from 'The Land Down Under' -  thank you for stopping by! I am sharing another page from my ART Journal, using Want2Scrap products.  Journaling is something that is really growing on me -I love the way it is open to your own interpretation.

I began by creating what I thought was going to be an ATC (Artists Trading Card) stamping a clock front using Bronze Embossing Powder onto a music sheet.  A metal cog embellishment has been glued to the centre of the clock face and a small black rhinestone has been added to the centre. I added some colour to the image using Chameleon Art PensThis has been adhered to various layers to give texture and dimension - I have limited myself to what is lying on my desk.

The sentiment has been created using word stickers and a key word embossed in red to stand out. I have used the White Gel Pen to define some of the words to add more definition. Cogs from the Die D-Lites Gears Etched Dies using Beacon Adhesive liquid glue and sponged them using Imagine Inks. Nestabling Hearts Circles - Black Rhinestones has been added around the top cog.

Jute - Chenille Braid, 7/8 inch Natural has been trimmed to size and glued below the former 'ATC' and large pearls from the 250 Count Pearls White have been adhered along the braid.  To finish off I have sponged one of the hinges from the Card Size Antique Keys w/hardware - Chipboard using Imagine inks.

Sweet Chipboard Dress Card

Candy here and today I am sharing my Sweet Chipboard Dress Card featuring the cute Dress Chipboard Embellishment. I added a Yellow Enamel Dot and a Turquoise Enamel Dot to each corner of the 6" x 6" card, which coordinates with the design paper and ephemera from the Echo Park Girls Petticoats and Pinstripes Collection.

The Turquoise Rhinestones Nestabling Petite Scalloped Circle Sm that I used on this card has been discontinued by Want2Scrap, but the same look could be achieved by adhering Turquoise Rhinestones in a circle around the sentiment.

I painted the Dress Chipboard Embellishment with Gesso before applying the Pink Flambe Nuvo Mousse. I then embellished the dress with Purple Sleek Strips 12" Rhinestones, cutting to fit as needed around the neckline, and 72 Count - Purple Rhinestones along the hem of the dress.

The Dress Chipboard Embellishments are perfect to create cards for baby girls, birthdays or you can decorate the dress to fit any occasion.  Have a great day!

Christmas Spirit Tags

Happy New Year!!  I hope everyone has a blessed 2018.

Here's a tag book I created using an old manilla folder and old fashioned Christmas paper over the Christmas season.

I folded an manilla folder in an accordion and adhered paper to each side.  Then I folded the bottom 2 1/2" up to create a pocket.  I used W2S words, Love and Laugh Chipboard Sentiments- Words of Love and colored them with Nuvo BURN BRONZ MOUSSE.  I also used Nuvo MTHR PEARL-NUVO MOUSSE to add dimension to the die-cuts from Spellbinders.  I painted Nestaboard Fancy Tags Two  with Mother of Pearl NUVO Mousse and the word joy with the Burnt Bronze Mousse.  The key on the top right corner was embossed.  72 Count - Mother of Pearl Rhinestones was added on top of the word "Joy".
On the bottom of the green and white polka dot paper I added Braid 3/4" LinenCouture Swirls (2-pack) - White Pearls and 72 Count - Mother of Pearl Rhinestones.

Beautiful Bling - Beautiful Blooms was adhered on top and bottom of the journal card.

I added Beautiful Bling Borders-Fancy That! on the side of the journal card and along the top edge of the pocket.

I hope you enjoyed this tag book and I hope you have a wonderful 2018 year!

Here's to happy scrapping!

Want2Scrap Paper Lace and Pearls Card

Hello Want2Scrap friends, it is Linda here sharing an elegant card created using  products.   I have used some of my favouriteWant2Scrap© white pearls and one of the beautiful laces that are in the Want2Scrap© shop - they are worth checking out!

I have used some patterned paper from my stash to create this card - I am not 100 percent sure who it is made by, but I do know that gorgeous floral on it were just begging to be coloured and made into a card. I have cut/embossed the main image on the paper using the Spellbinders and coloured it using Chameleon Art Pens This has then popped up onto a Hemstitch Oval, cut/embossed using cream card stock.

The Gimp Loop Braid has been sponged using Rhubarb Stalk ink and adhered across the die cut patterned paper.  The lace takes the ink well - this is a wonderful way of personalising your trims to match your projects.

250 Count Pearls White have been adhered onto the centre of each loop pattern on the lace and around the patterned edge of the Die Cut image.

Christmas Mittens

Not Just for the Holidays Want2Scrap friends!!
I have a pair ornaments to share with you today. I made them as gifts for a family member.

I started by gluing designer papers to both sides
After the pieces were completely dry
I distressed the edges of the papers and
created a hole in one end using a hole punch.

I cut an eight inch long piece of twine.
Then secured the ends together,
in the shape of a loop,
using hot glue.

The twine loop was attached securely
through the hole created earlier.

I used an assortment of trims and laces to create a cuff.
This served as a clever way to conceal the area where
the twine was attached to the chipboard embellishment.

Want2Scrap 12" Sleek Strips in white pearl and red rhinestone
were used to enhance the beautiful striped paper
on one side of the chipboard mitten.

Want2Scrap bulk bling pearls in coordinating colors
were glued to the other side where the dotted paper was used.
A cute red bow and mini red rose finished the look.

Want2Scrap Items Used:
Royal Blue, Black, Cranberry, Sage Green, LeCreme

HAPPY CRAFTING!
