Want2Scrap Designer Mimi’s {Love}ly Projects!

I have not done much "scrapping" for the last several months, life has gotten in the way. My kids are older and I spend tons of time running them around and watching them in their events. I would not change that for the world...but I have really missed scrapping lately and decided to scrap a "pretty" layout using lots of Want2Scrap™ goodies. Nothing like these little pretties to get you inspired...

If you have not seen their new Rose Ribbons you really must, they come in just about every color and size. I just love this pink one.

In my opinion "you can have too much bling"! I used the both the Nestabling Pink Circle Rhinestones and the Nestabling Silver Circle Rhinestones. I topped that off with the gorgousHeart Rhinestone Ribbon Slide...gorgeous!

Another fun product to check out are the butterfly embellishments, so dang cute. ThisOrange Butterfly really highlighted the photo of my lotus flower bringing out the center color. Of course I can not do a layout without some sort of pearls and the Coral Pearls - 72 Count were the perfect center of my die cut butterflies.

Lovely Spring Day Banner

Hi there!  I'm inviting spring in today with a pretty banner using Want2Scrap©

 products.  Bling on the spring!

I started by cutting the banners out of designer paper and cardstock and adhering them together.  Each banner pennant was hot glued to the pretty music note ribbon from Want2Scrap©.  And then the real fun begins...adorning this banner with pretties!  Above I have Want2Scrap fabric flowers and nestabling.

I was happy to discover Scalloped Heart Silver Nestabling fit onto a felt heart ornament I picked up in after Christmas sales.  Pretty pink Nestabling Pennants  look great on this banner.

Looking at each pennant as an individual opportunity to embellish is so much fun.

Fluttery wings are made by threading floral leaves through a Rectangle Ribbon Slide and using the wire stems as antennae!  Fun!

How GRATEFUL was I, to have this delightful barn as a background, to
tell the story of how we surprised our 7 year old boy with his very first
horse? ... Well, pull up a barrel, bench, or your favorite pony, and I'll
walk you THROUGH IT! {Insert: YEEE HAWWWW, here!}

It could be a post, in itself, going over the details of the cover work I did
on this baby, but some of the fine points on the, EVER SO MUCH FUN,
wood-grain technique, can be reviewed in my post, here, if you are interested.
The most important aspect to cover page design, is that YOU like it, it's fun
to make, and that you glue everything down like you're planning for an earth-
quake. Don't want to risk losing ANYTHING on a keepsake like this!

FUN paper, stamps and tons of BLING and Nestaboard™, and the inside page
is off to the races! {But wait: there's MORE!} Not one to leave out the details
of my sweet lil' story, I created a mini photo book, BEHIND the main photo (#1):

On the inside, photo #2 & #3 - depicting the early developments of
"what was IN the barn!" Our darling and eccentric, horse trainer,
feeding the intrigue... She handed the birthday boy the special "fetching"
stick {Yes, the HORSE knew how to fetch!}, tied with ribbon.... My boy,
not having a CLUE, was perfectly piqued in curiosity!

Then our sweet horse trainer says to my boy, "Why don't you check
on PeeWee, HE has a birthday treat for you..." {Pictures #4 & #5}
As he reaches in and sees the horse, with his halter
already on and lead rope loosely tied, the boy turns to us,
and wonders, out loud... "Is Pee Wee... for ME?"

Page #2 shows the joy of the answer. Happiness, pride, love = WANTED!

A stroll up to the arena, as the shock begins to lift...
and yes, more hidden photos!

Welcome Little One for Want2Scrap!

One of my dear friends will soon be blessed with her first baby soon. I thought I would work ahead and make a card for when the little one comes.

I wanted it to be a cute, colorful card and not your traditional baby colors...I wanted it to have a fresh and fun feel to it.

These Silver Rhinestone Swirls by Want2Scrap™ are perfect for this. I love that they stick to just about anything...lace included. No extra glue was necessary!

Want2Scrap, how do I love thee? let me count the bling adorned ways!

Having rounded the bend of the start of a brand new year, I am excited to finish packing away our precious Christmas decor and start in on the red, white, and pink of valentine's day!  What's not to love about LOVE?   Today I want to share a card I made that features the beautiful Want2Scrap™ Nestabling™, chipboard embellishment, and bling!
