Meet our Design Team

Mimi Leinbach

Hi, my name is Mimi Leinbach and I am 39 years old. Yikes! I am a SAHM to 2 soccer loving boys Nick(13) and Jack(9) and when I am not scrapping I can be sure to be found at a soccer game or helping out at school. I have been married to Josh for over 16 years. He has given me the freedom to indulge myself in this hobby and I just adore him for it. You could say I am obsessed, completely and totally. I have been scrapping for 13+ years now and I would say my style is ever changing. I like to try every technique at least once and some a lot more. I have a passion for patterned paper, to which I just can't seem to get enough. I have been published many times in Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers Magazine and Books, Scrapbook Etc., Scrapbook Trends, Simply Handmade, Creates Idea Books as well as Scrapbooking and Beyond magazine. I love designing and am proud to have designed for many manufactures and kit clubs.

Elise Durenberger

Elise has been avidly paper crafting for the past decade. With a lifetime of creative pursuits fueling her passion, her foundation is in Fine Art. She earned a degree in Art Studio from the University of California, Davis, and continues to paint and draw, in addition to paper craft. Completely transformed by the Blog-World, Elise's joy has been increased, exponentially, by participating in paper craft challenges, publication calls, design team cooperation and friendships, cemented from the common experience of "Blog." When she isn't playing with all things paper, ink and embellishment, she's joyfully married to the love of her life, always inspired and smitten by her two babies {okay, they are 9 & 13 years young - but to a mother: ALWAYS babies!}, then, there's the four legged babies - horses, dogs, cat & one truly ancient cow... Living "ranch life" in Sonoma County, California, the culmination of her life's dream, feels pretty darn good. Mix in paper and some bling - Life is EXCELLENT! "I'm so honored to have the opportunity to design with products from Want2Scrap™! The name of the company says it all, but as I was discussing with a friend, recently, the term "scrap" means SO much more than it used to. I'm looking forward to adding Want2Scrap's unique and oh, so creatively, inspirational product into every area of my crafting! From the bejeweled, self adhesive line of pearls and rhinestones, to the fantastic chipboard and acrylic albums, and die-cuts, I'm going to be ONE busy crafty chick. Fortunately, there's not much in my life that wouldn't benefit from a lil' more BLING, so I say, BLING IT ONNNNN! Yee HAW!"

Karen Taylor

I am Karen Taylor and I live in Southwest Missouri with my husband Andy. We have two children Jessie and Douglas. We were blessed with our first grandson almost two years ago and have one on the way.
I have been a paper craftier for six years but creating has always been a part of my life. I was raised by my grandmother who taught me the love of creating. Inspired by her 1930's scrapbooks I love all things vintage and old. When I am at home you can find me in my studio. I love to create very special layouts, cards and altered items my mini pieces of art.

I have been lucky to have work with major paper craft companies including Donna Salazar Designs, Spellbinders Paper Arts, Best Creations, Inc, Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker to name a few and in magazines, on TV (Local TV segments, Creative Memories TV Show, Terri O Show, QVC, Home Shopping Network US and Canada and was published in a book this past year as well as work in catalogues and at the Craft and Hobby Association Show for the last six shows.
I am so thrilled to join Want2Scrap™ this month as their guest designer. I love their products and can not wait to show them off! I hope you enjoy as I embrace my Creative Yearnings.

Dana Gustafson

Hello! I am tickled pink to be serving on the Want2Scrap™ Design team! I hope to help inspire you with projects that tend to be a little shabby, a little vintage and certainly full of sparkly bling! I am a stay-at-home mom to my two adorable girls and wife to my sweetheart. We make our home in Northern California along with three rambunctious yellow labs, two bunny rabbits and a goldfish. I love to papercraft and you will find me primarily making cards these days although my roots are in scrapbooking. I have been known to whip out a needle and thread on a whim but I don't consider myself a seamstress at all. For me, crafting is all about making it yourself, making it with found things, integrating your memories into your craft, taking joy in the little things that are created by our hands and then sharing what we've made with others. I can't wait to see what you make with the gorgeous Want2Scrap™ products. Let's get crafting!
