Easter Greetings Tag

Candy here and today I am sharing with you an Easter Tag I created using Wild Plum Pearls Swirls Finesse.  The beautiful design paper is from Graphic 45.  I covered the Manila Tag using Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments - Heart Song Paper and added the vintage image and sentiment from Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments - Heart Song Paper.  I added Art Glitter Ensalada Glitter with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive to the image.

Then I adhered a LeCreme Pearl and added the Wild Plum Pearls Swirls Finesse, cutting to fit as needed.

At the top of the tag I used LeCreme Pearls and Sage Green Pearls and added seam binding to the hole.

Very quickly you have a beautiful vintage tag to add to your Easter basket.  Have a great day!

Chipboard Flaire

Hello Everyone, Terre here with a creative design using Want2Scrap© and W2S Dress Form.
I wanted to share this project with you so that you could see how fun and creative you could be when using these chipboard embellishments you find in the Want2Scrap© store.

Here is a picture of the dress form being in it's raw form

and here is a close up after I have die cut feathers out of Graphic 45
Artisan Style 8 x 8 pad of pattern paper.

I added Sleek Strips 6" Rhinestone Black Bling and flowers with a touch of tulle. I painted the raw chipboard dress form using white acrylic paint, then lightly sanded it to give it a distressed look.

I hope you have been inspired to create one of your own dress forms or to use any of the other variety of raw chipboard embellishments we have here at Want2Scrap©.

Happy Crafting,

Terre

Want2Scrap Secret Garden Card

Hello Want2Scrap fans - it is Linda here today I am sharing a pretty and elegant card created using Want2Scrap Silver Rhinestones and pearls - check out those gorgeous swirls - how beautiful they are!  They add instant elegance to any project - and we love that - don't we!!

The Graphic 45 Secret Garden paper has been cut/embossed using Spellbinders Labels 44  this has been popped up onto embossed card stock - embossed using the Spellbinders Cabbage Roses embossing folder,

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L3D Foam Squares are used in every 'popped up' layer - they give such a nice amount of dimension without being too much - especially these days when postage can be expensive.

Lace has been added to the top and bottom edges of the embossed card stock, with a recycled button on each corner and a 250 Count Pearls White adhered to each button.  This makes such an easy embellishment - great for using up all of those button that gather and seem to multiply!!

Three Mulberry Paper Flowers (12 Flowers) - 3/8" Purple have been glued to the side of the Labels 44, on top of lace flowers,  The Inspire Swirls (2 Pack) by Nina Bracekett - Silver Rhintestones have been trimmed and added each side of the Mulberry Roses, flowing onto the embossed paper and the Labels 44.  This has all been layered onto a pre-cut card base.

Want2Scrap Swirls, Pearls and Roses Card

Hello Want2Scrap fans - it is Linda here sharing a pretty shabby/vintage card with you.  I am using one of the chipboard tags from Graphics 45 - these are so pretty.  I have added pearls and swirls - such a gorgeous combination - don't you think!!

My card base has been cut from white card stock using Spellbinders Labels 46 Decorative Elements Etched Die #3 (#1 being the smallest) Cut two #3 Dies, score the top of one at 1cm and fold forward.  Add adhesive to the 1cm portion, attach the front being sure to line up the pattern - an there you have a patterned card base - so easy.

The insert is also cut using the Labels 46 Decorative Elements #2 and lightly patterned paper.  Using purple ink and a sponge dauber, lightly sponge the ink into the flowers on the patterned paper.  Adhere to the card base using liquid glue.

Pop on the Graphic 45 Tag using liquid glue, add liquid glitter to the butterflies wings, with a small white pearl in the centre.  Glue a double Seam Binding Bow to the left side of the tag and adhere a Mulberry Paper Rose to the center,  I have trimmed the Swirls Finesse - don't you love it that we can do that - so convenient!!  Medium white pearls have been placed around the tag on the filigree portions of the Die cut.

Want2Scrap and Heartfelt Creation - My World

Hello Want2Scrap fans - it is Linda here, sharing a masculine card today - using Want2Scrap bling - of course!!  I do love the way Want2Scrap bling can be used on masculine projects and not look out of place or 'too much!" In saying that I have kept it simple.

The image has been stamped using Black Ink and cut/embossed using the Spellbinders 6 x 6 Matting Basics A Card Creator Etched Dies   It has then been coloured using Chameleon Pens.

Want2Scrap Beautiful Bling Borders - Endless Waves by Nina Brackett have been adhere to the lower edge of the image.  I have coloured the Silver Rhinestones using Chameleon Pens.  This is permanent when using alcohol markers and is fabulous for co-ordinating your bling and projects.

The Die cut image has been popped up onto Quick Quotes paper using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares, followed by a prepared card base.  Finishing off with twine wrapped around the card front twice and knotted - this has been secured by Beacon Adhesives 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue.

Want2Scrap A Song to Sing

Hello Want2Scrap fans - it is Linda here, sharing a fun card today - using Want2Scrap bling - of course!!  I do love the way Want2Scrap bling can 'dress up' any project - highlights features and just look 'bling-a-licious!'

The card base and patterned paper have been cut using a Spellbinders Die, I have added a middle strip of white cardstock that has been layered into slightly larger yellow cardstock.

Sleek Strips 6" Silver Rhinestones have been added to the top and bottom of the yellow cardstock - made so easy by the fact that they for your project too.are self adhesive.  The strips can be trimmed to any size.  The bird has been stamped with Black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens and fussy cut/hand cut using scissors, then popped up  on 3D Foam Squares.

The Gold Crown is a sticker and has been added abbe the head with the lower rim tucked underneath the bird.  Turquoise Baby Bling   has been added along the base of the crown - to add a pop of colour.

Dog Chipboard Embellishments

Candy here and today I want to share with you a couple techniques to create beautiful dog chipboard embellishments for your projects.  I created this adorable dog scene using Want2Scrap's Dog Chipboard Embellishment, a Doghouse Chipboard Shape, and a Fence Chipboard Embellishment.

To create the the Doghouse, using a pencil I traced around the different sections of the Doghouse on the design paper and scissor cut out the sections. I adhered the design paper sections to the chipboard with Dries Clear Adhesive.  To get an even more precise edge I then used a nail file along the edges of the Chipboard Doghouse.  I sponged Old Paper Distress Ink along the edges and inside the opening of the Doghouse to create depth and shading.  I then adhered the striped beige design paper to the back of the Chipboard Doghouse to cover the opening.

I heat embossed the Chipboard Dog and Chipboard Fence.  Before I started I covered each piece with Gesso.  For the Chipboard Fence I covered it with Clear Emboss It Ink and then added Weathered White Embossing Powder.  I tapped off the excess and heat set it.  To create the Chipboard Dog I covered it in Tree Branch Wendy Vecchi Archival Ink and added the coordinating Tree Branch Embossing Powder.  I tapped of the excess and heat set it.  Embossing chipboard creates a beautifully covered surface.

This scene I created is now ready to be added to a scrapbook page!

Want2Scrap Vintage Ladies

Hello Want2Scrap fans - it is Linda here, sharing a vintage card today - using Want2Scrap Nestabling and an image from Graphic 45. I think these ladies would love being 'blinged up' back in 'the day!'  Want2Scrap bling is certainly timeless!

The Graphic 45 image has been lightly coloured using Watercolour Markers, to give a feminine and slightly vintage/shabby feel.  You can just catch a little glimpse of the Nestabling Fancy Tags Two White Pearl that has been cut down the middle and added to each side of the image to great a vert feminine frame.

Lace has been added - don't you love the  lace and pearls combination - so pretty.

A stamped and double layered butterfly has been attached to the lower left corner of the image, a paper rose added to the center of the butterfly.  I have popped a small pink pearl to the center of the Nestabling frame - it is so easy to individualise the Nestabling.

My Favorite 2012 Want2Scrap Projects

Wow as I sit here typing my post for today I am reflecting on all of the projects that I have created over the last year using the amazing products created by Want2Scrap. Some of them are albums, altered art pieces and even some jewelry, did you know you could create jewelry with Want2Scrap products?

Here is a broach created using Want2Scrap Fancy Tags Two Nestaboard and Nestabling Fancy Tags Two Silver Rhinestones.

Here is a mixed media pin using Want2Scrap Baby Bling Red Rhinestones and Designer Embellies Paper Dolls.

I just love the way Graphic 45 paper collections and Want2Scrap bling work so perfectly together!
For this card, I used Nestaboard Labels Eleven, Nestabling Labels Eleven Silver Rhinestones and Finesse Swirls Pearls.

This altered piece started out as a $.25 yard sale find and was featured on the front cover of Just Steampunk Two Magazine so see even those yard sale finds become treasures. For this treasure I used Want2Scrap Nestaboard Sprightly Sprockets and Nestabling Sprightly Sprockets Silver Rhinestones.

And lastly one of my all time favorites..... Corset Fancy Chipboard Album, this album was a lot of work but so much fun, from the Nestabling Fancy Tags Two Silver Rhinestones and Nestaboard Fancy Tags Two to all of the 72 Count Black Pearls and Finesse Swirls Black Rhinestones.

I hope you have enjoyed this walk down memory lane with a few of my favorite projects some are new that you have not seen before and some are recaps. With this being my last post for 2012, I wish you all Happy and Bright New Year! I look forward to creating more exciting projects with all of the new releases for 2013.

Crafty Smiles,
