Good morning..Karen Taylor here today to with you a happy October to you.

I hope you are enjoying fall weather.
I know I am loving the cooler temperatures and the leaves changing color.

For my Want2Scrap™ project today I am celebrating sisterhood!

I started my layout with Simple Stories Elementary collection and cut Spellbinders™ Paper Arts: Stars Nestabilities® die templates using Grand Calibur™ die cut machine. I cut my background paper to 11 1/2 x 11/1/2, inked the edges and stapled to a 12 x 12 piece of kraft paper.

I then glued the die cut star to Nestaboard™ Stars Five,

Inked with ECO Green: Ink Walnut and embellished with Nestabling™ Star Five Silver and Bling: 72 Count - Silver Rhinestones - Self Adhesive and finished off the the layout with the layered and “blinged” stars.

I then die cut using Spellbinders™ Paper Arts: Grand Calibur™ die cut machine Donna's Alphas Spellbinders™ Shapeabilities® the word “SISTERS” . Inked them and embellished with Want2Scrap™: Bling: 72 Count - Silver Rhinestones - Self Adhesive.

Splendor with BLING!

It's the MOST splendid season - PERFECT for adding a little bling!

Somethin' about the COLORS of Fall, in my neck of the woods...

EVERYTHING looks terrific in fall colors... So WHY not up the beauty...

WITH BLING!

Yes, please! I did! - I will continue to do so! I LOVE doin' it,
and SO... WILL ... YOU!

We were given these incredible paper kits recently, to pair with Want2Scrap™
products - and HONEY, BABIES, SWEETHEARTS! WHAT a stunning combo!

On the opposing page, a tree sticker from the Simple Stories™
100 Days of Summer collection, skillfully covers a smallish
family friend who dove into our "family portrait" moment,
and the addition of self adhesive green bling from the 72 ct.
package {Yeowza! This stuff is sooooo versatile!} REALLY
ups the juice factor on this little scene! {LOVE that green!}



Bling can perk up SO many {already!} beautiful materials!



Here's another stellar graphic from the Simple Stories collection:
although the set is intended for summer, I easily transitioned
many of the images into fall, with a few stamps and coordinating
BLING!


But when I say COORDINATING... I'm kind of breaking out
of the "matchy-matchy" coordinating concept, and leaping
towards the use of COMPLIMENTARY bling..... {*swoon!*}


How can these colors NOT make you want to smile?
YUM! Like pumpkin bread baking in your oven on
a leisurely Sunday morning - these colors ARE fall,
where I come from! I had so much fun enhancing
these images just-a-lil-bit! But just LOOK:

That's okay, you can STILL play with us! I hoard... ur, uh,

This baby went from {stunning!} summer, to fall in a snap!

Oh, the places BLING can take us! Isn't is AMAZING!?!

Bling it OUT - to THIS!



So much fun! On this festive bingo sheet, I merely covered
the center piece with this pumpkin I stamped onto a scrap
of paper from this very collection, fussy cut and glued it
right THAR in the center! You'd probably never have
guessed it didn't come that way... There's just something
about staking a claim on CREATIVE material!

More pumpkins to decorate the spine of this delightful
chipboard album from EcoGreen Crafts!


I used some LOVELY paint from Eco Green Crafts
to custom paint the letters on the cover of my book,
as well! I swear, I need EVERY color they make!
It's GREAT stuff!

As you can see, very little bling was spared for the creation of
this sparkly seasonal album. I promise, it didn't feel any pain...
AND MAN, does it SHINE! {!} Gosh, I love sharing my love for

This is what I had fun making with them! I love that these papers have some pre-printed sentiments on them...it so easy to work with them.

I used these Style C Chipboard Embellishments. I sprayed them with ink and added the 72 Count Amber Rhinestones. What a great way to add additional color and texture.
