Want2 Scrap Be Happy Layout

Hello Want2Scrap fans - it is Linda here today I am sharing a layout created using Want2Scrap Chipboard and Enamel Dot.  I have so many photos of my precious Grandson to be scrapbooked and love all that Want2Scrap offer - it makes it so much easier - and is so inspiring - you have to love that!

I have sponged the Film Strip (4 pack) - Chipboard Embellishment using Teal Zeal ink and a sponge dauber.  Next I have added random splatters of white and yellow to the strip. The photos have been cut slightly larger than the opening and adhered using double sided tape.  They have been adhered to the layout onto two layered of patterned paper using liquid glue.

The Be Happy Be Bright Be You - Chipboard - Chipboard Quotations has been sponged using Teal Zeal and irRESISTibles Pico Embellisher in Shimmer added over the top.  Once it has dried it has been adhered next to the Film Strip using Beacon Adhesive: Zip Dry Liquid Glue.

I have stamped the star from the Faded Fragments  onto the patterned paper in both Teal Zeal and Electric Yellow, colouring the Teal Zeal using a Yellow Gel Pen.

I have cut/embossed the Robo Stars using blue card stock.  The Stars have been stamped using the Seth Apter Rain Drops Stamp and adhered to the layout; as shown in the main photo; outlining them all with a blue glitter pen for definition.

The Smile Camera and Banner using kraft card stock and sponged using Teal Zeal and Electric Yellow; silver foil has been adhered behind the flash opening and a 72 Count - Silver/Clear Rhinestones - Self Adhesive has been adhered to the lens opening.  The camera and sentiment have been adhere using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Yellow Buttons have been adhered using Beacon Adhesive: Zip Dry Liquid Glue and Enamel Dots 8MM Stone Size - Turquoise have been adhered to the centre of the buttons - a fun way to create an embellishment.  Enamel Dots 8MM Stone Size -Yellow have been randomly added to the layout.

I Heart Dogs Card!

Susie here today with a CAS (Clean And Simple) card I created for a dog lover - or maybe a new dog owner!

I started by stamping and heat embossing the sentiment in black ink.  Then I added a wash of blue to create a bit of a background.

I love Want2Scrap chipboard!  I often use it just bare naked because I love that look, but there are so many ways to dress it up!  Today I decided to use embossing powder.  I chose one of the elements from the card sized Houses by Nina Brackett pack.

I wanted to make the house 2-toned, so I masked off the roof part with a piece of paper and inked the bottom half.  I added embossing powder and applied heat to set.

Then I reversed it and masked off the bottom and embossed the roof using a different color.  Such a cute little house, right?

But not cute enough!  I stamped a tiny little sentiment on the roof and heat embossed it.  It turned out really cool as it kind of melted into the previous heat embossing but still kept a little dimension.  Next I dug a tiny little wooden dog chippie out of my stash and heat embossed him in black.

I adhered them to the front of the card and then decided to snazz up the roof line with a bit of bling from the Sleek Strip Rhinestones in black...

...and added a few bits of washi tape - voila!

Be sure to stop by Want2Scrap and check out the store for all the new designs of chipboard that we have added!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find some time to play today!  Susie

Want2Scrap Your Special Day

Hello Want2Scrap fans - it is Linda here sharing a pretty and elegant shabby/vintage card with you.  I am using  Graphics 45 paper and have added pearls and swirls - such a gorgeous combination - don't you think!!  This card can be used for any special day, especially with the beautiful Allure Pearl Swirls - totally elegant!!

The card base has been cut/embossed using A2 Matting Basics A Card Creator,  The next layer has also been cut/embossed using A2 Matting Basics A Card Creator and then been embossed using Spellbinders Framed Petite Labels Embossing Folder .  I have lightly sponged the embossed layer using Imagine Crafts Memento ink in Summer Sky and a sponge dauber.

The Graphic 45 Patterned Paper has been cut using the Labels Forty Five Die and lightly sanded.  This has been popped up onto the embossed panel using 3D Foam Squares.  The Allure Swirl- White Pearls has been trimmed to size and added under the Graphic 45 image.

White lace has been adhered along the top of the card using liquid glue and large white pearls adhered.

The sentiment has been stamped using black ink and cut/embossed using the Petite Labels One Die,  The inside of the Die has been sponged using Summer Sky ink and popped up onto the lower portion of the Die using 3D Foam Squares.  Small and medium pearls have been added to the corners.  I do love the softness of this card, which has been enhanced by the beautiful Want2Scrap pearls.

Want2Scrap A Touch of Green

Hello Want2Scrap fans - it is Linda here, sharing a card using beautiful rich green pearls - I love this colour and am going to be showering you in it! LOL!  They add such a richness to a very subtle card without being too overpowering - not an easy task!

The card base has  been cut/embossed using A2 Matting Basics A Card Creator #7 (#1 being the smallest).

Cream card stock has been embossed using the Ornate Labels One 3D Em-bossing Folder and sponged  using Imagine Crafts Memento ink using Bamboo Leaves and a sponge dauber.  Always start lightly - you can always add but you can't take away.  The Sage Pearls have been added around the Labels One, alternating with medium and small pearls.

A mulberry paper rose has been layered onto a pink flower, followed by a double layer of the hearts Die and a sponged Labels One - easy but very effective - and all of the time framed by the Sage Pearls.

Lace has been adhered to the lower portion of the embossed card front and a double seam binding bow adhered using liquid glue.  A medium Sage Pearl has been adhered to a flower button and liquid glitter applied around the pearl - a very quick embellishment and very effective; great for using those one or two pearls that are left from a project - they are one of my favourite embellishments!
