Summers Forever

Candy here and today I am sharing my Summers Forever Card featuring the Butterfly Chipboard Shape, Silver Rhinestone Inspire Swirls, Endless Waves Beautiful Bling Borders and Enamel Dots.  I created this 6" x 6" sized card with paper and ephemera from Echo Park.  I sponged the edges of the ephemera and yellow paper with Scattered Straw Tim Holtz Distress Ink and the design paper with Toffee Crunch Memento Ink.  For some extra sparkle I added Ranger Diamond Stickles to the flowers on the design paper and ephemera.

Using a craft sponge on the Butterfly Chipboard Shape I added Nuvo Mousse in Peony Pink to the wings and Nuvo Mousse in Cosmic Brown to the butterfly's body/antennas.  It takes about 2 - 3 coats to cover the chipboard completely, but since the Nuvo Mousse basically dries instantly this takes no time at all to achieve the desired results.  I then gently bent the chipboard wings upward slightly and adhered the butterfly's body with adhesive.  I then adhered the Beautiful Bling Borders - Endless Waves! by Nina Brackett near the antennas and the Inspire Swirls by Nina Brackett in Silver Rhinestones at the bottom of the chipboard butterfly, cutting both to fit as needed.  I added Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss in Carnation Pink and Dandelion Yellow to the wings.

Finally, I added Enamel Dots 8mm Stone Size - Yellow and Enamel Dots 8mm Stone Size - Hot Pink, to the corners as shown.

Grateful for Want2Scrap Chipboard!

Hello everybody!  Susie here today and I am sharing a layout I created featuring Want2Scrap Chipboard!  I usied the Nestled Collection from Authentique Paper.  I really loved the sentiment printed on one of the cut apart cards:

"It is not happy people who are thankful.  It is thankful people who are happy."

The collection has a great assortment of patterned papers that work together to create a really casual, comfortable feel. The colors were perfect for these pictures of my son in his blue jeans!  I had a lot of fun creating layers and dimension with papers, stickers and tags.

I added even more dimension with a Chipboard Fence from Want2Scrap.  To create an aged look, I dry-brushed the chipboard with gesso and then distressed it with inks.

Finally, I added a piece of the Swirls Finesse bling in the lower right, tucking it under the little pumpkin sticker!

Welcome, Want2Scrap friends! I'm happy to share my latest project, "Faith".   I love the way that Want2Scrap products turn any project from ordinary to extraordinary.

 

One of my favorite Want2Scrap products, Swirls - Silver Rhinestone - Package of 2 - 4" x 4", adds beautiful swirls of bling.  Jewel Flowers and Flourishes (S5-143) - Nestaboard add lovely accents of butterflies and flowers when shaded with Colorbox ink.  Chipboard Sentiments - Faith was painted then distressed with Colorbox ink.

Fanciful Fairies



Here is a decorative wall hanging with Fanciful Fairies and beautiful butterflies with lots of Want2Scrap bling. I love using Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime collection of paper, it fits so nicely with just about every type of bling you will find at Want2Scrap.



I just love using Swirls Finesse - Silver Rhinestones - 2 Pack - Self Adhesive on just about every project I create. Just look how amazing those Wonderful Wings Bling matched Spellbinders Wonderful Wings die templates.



I hand trimmed the flowers and added 72 Count - Black Pearls - Self Adhesive to the center and brushed on some Diamond Stickles to the petals. I also inked up Chipboard Embellishments - Pack of 4 - Style A and used it as a base for my fairies and flowers. The stamp that I used is from Quietfire Designs, I die cut S4-328 Foliage die template from Spellbinders and sanded and inked each leaf using Clearsnaps Fluid Chalk Chestnut Roan, pinched up a bit to add some dimension. After I had all my pieces cut, and assemble I adhered them to my wall hanging base using Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry, and there you have it a vintage wall hanging perfect for a little girls room. I love these Finesse Swirls- As you can see, I customize them all the time.  I trim pieces off and use them here and there- there is always the perfect size swirl for whatever project you are working on.   I dressed up the die cut with a few Baby Bling in Pink.

 Hello, friends!  Keely here to share my latest layout featuring fabulous Want2Scrap products. I couldn't resist designing with this adorable photo of my niece and her best friend.  I love the texture W2S products give my layouts--chipboard, bling, denim!

The chipboard diecut titles are one of my favorite new products.  I also used one of the 7x7" denim squares and self-adhesive pearls to create my flower.

The rhinestone Nestabling and swirls are a perfect finishing touch.

Hi all, AJ here again to share another Lawn Fawn card paired up with some fabulous Want2Scrap Nestabling!

For my card, I used Want2Scraps Heart Circles in black.  Want2Scraps Nestabling is so versatile you can use the heart circles with Spellbinders Standard circles!   The flourish is from the Funky Swirls Black Rhinestone set, I cut a piece off to use! ;)

Grungy Girly Glitzed and Glammed Card with Gems and Glitter

Hi Everyone!

True here today to share my glitzy butterfly card with you.

Now, you might think I went a little crazy with the Want2Scrap bling, but the way I see it, a girl can never have too many sparkly things! :)

I used lots of glitter for several reasons.

One, because I love glitter!

Two, because Art Glitter is one of our preferred partner companies.

Three, because I also design for Art Glitter!

And....last but not least, because I needed a card using a glitter technique for my CardMaker Magazine blog post today.

I just love it when things all fall together like that!  :)

I used glitter around the edges as a kind of sparkly way of distressing, and I also colored the butterfly in with it.
