Saying it with Love and Want2Scrap

Hello it is Linda here with a card for you using one of the beautiful Want2Scrap Bling Borders - how pretty they are and can add so much to a card.  Combine this with some beautiful rhinestones and it does not get much better than this!

I have created this card based on a digital image, I am not sure where it is from but will come back and add the link when I find it.  Imagine Craft 'featuring' Tsukineko Memento Markers have been used to colour the image, which has been layered into the Spellbinders Labels One Nestabilities using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The Corners and Accents One flourishes has been added to the top and  bottom of the Labels One to create a frame.  This has then been adhered to the Green Labels One using double sided tape.

The layers have been adhered to a precut card base, with patterned paper cut slightly smaller.  Beautiful Bling Borders - Fancy Waves by Nina Brackett has been added along the top of the patterned paper.

Pink crochet lace is added along the lower edge and 72 Count -Silver/Clear Rhinestones - Self Adhesive have been added along the lace.  Bling on lace, whether it is rhinestones or pearls is always such a pretty additions - making the lace eye catching.

Saying I LOVE You with Want2Scrap

Hello it is Linda here with a card for you - with Valentines just around the corner what better time to share a card that is all about LOVE and of course I am using Want2Scrap pearls.

I always love the elegance that pearls bring and my inspiration for this card came from the beautiful necklace in front of it - this belonged to my beautiful Nana and is something I treasure.  As long as I can remember she wore pearls, particularly on special occasions...this could explain my passion for pearls - or it's beginning at least!

The Heartfelt Creations image has been stamped using VersaMark, I love the 'colour on colour' effect it has with the sentiment - I have added nothing more to this.  White Baby bling pearls have been added around the Grate Effects pattern, adding a simple elegance.  The card case has been created using the Romantic Rectangles Nestabilities.  My card is held together by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

The White Roses have been added to the bottom left hand corner, along with Swirls Finesses popping out on each side.  The Swirls are so versatile - they can be used whole or trimmed to suit the project you are working on.  Simple elegance - so easy and definitely a WOW factor!!

Reap Joy Card

Candy here and today I have my Reap Joy Card to share with you that uses the beautiful Swirls Finesse in Brown Rhinestones and Navy Blue Rhinestones.  This A2 sized card was created using a card front panel from Heartfelt Creations Farmers Market Paper Collection.  I die cut the center of the card front using Heartfelt Creations Cut Mat Create 1A Die.  I wrapped a ribbon around the center of the outer edge of the card panel before adhering it to the card base and then adhered the bow.

I cut the Swirls Finesse - Brown Rhinestones in half and added part of it at the top of the card and then also adhered Navy Blue Rhinestones to each end of the swirl.

I adhered the other half of the Swirls Finesse - Brown Rhinestones to the bottom of the card and also added some more Navy Blue Rhinestones.

To the die cut center of the card panel, I added some Crystal Glitter to the onions, Mellow Yellow Glitter to the corn, Green Brier Glitter to the carrot tops and Vintage Photo Distress Glitter to the sunflower centers in the design paper.  I added the "Reap Joy" tag with a pop dot and then placed a Navy Blue Rhinestone on the hole of the tag.  I then added the entire center card panel to the card front with pop dots.

Have a good day!

Faith layout by Katie Piotrowski

Hello Want2Scrap friends, Katie here with Handmade by K8! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!  I'm so excited to continue designing for Want2Scrap for the 2016 term!

Today I have a 12x12 single page layout to share with you...

This layout came together quickly!  I began with a piece of patterned paper for the background and layered a piece of black cardstock on top.  I wanted to bring in the colors from my daughter's shirt so I added some bright colored banner pieces then mounted her photo on coordinating cardstock.  The title is a mixture of some alpha stickers and the Want2Scrap Faith Fancy Chipboard Word.  I simply colored the chipboard with my metallic silver Sharpie!  Next, I did some hand journaling on a kraft tag and adhered it next to the photo.  I finished the layout off by adding a few sticker embellishments and sprinkled some Want2Scrap Pink Enamel Dots and Want2Scrap Silver Baby Bling.

Here's a closer view of some of the details...

I love the added dimension Want2Scrap chipboard words add to my projects!

Christmas Memories 2015 by Katie Piotrowski

Hey friends, Katie here with Handmade by K8 to show you a quick and easy layout I created using a Want2Scrap Overlay!  I don't know about you but to me it seems like the holidays were a big ole blur this year.  Came and went too quickly!  But, now that 2016 is here I'm ready to complete my 2015 documentation and get on with 2016!

I LOVE creating with Want2Scrap's Overlays!  There's a great variety available and they really help me to get my layouts complete with little stress.  I used the Want2Scrap Christmas Tree Second Page Overlay as a page of it's own...

I added a polka dot patterned paper behind the overlay to add a touch of color without overwhelming the page.  After printing the photos with my Selphy I adhered them into place.  In the lower left hand corner I added the Want2Scrap Pine Trees - Set of 3.  To create the title and subtitle, I used the Want2Scrap Christmas Fancy Chipboard Word, Want2Scrap Memories Fancy Chipboard Word, Want2Scrap Joy Fancy Chipboard Word and Want2Scrap 2015 Fancy Chipboard Word, all colored with a metallic silver Sharpie.  To add more color and help break up the photo blocks I added a strip of the Want2Scrap Christmas Season Glitter Decorative Strips.  To finish off the layout, I sprinkled some of the smallest gems from the Want2Scrap 72 Count Silver/Clear Rhinestone pack and some Want2Scrap Baby Bling in red around the page.

Here's a close-up view of the title...

I love how easy it is to color the Want2Scrap Fancy Chipboard Words!   And the metallic silver really helps it to pop off the page!

Have you completed your 2015 projects?

Katie

A Want2Scrap Christmas Layout

Susie here on this fine Christmas morning!  I hope you are all enjoying special time with your families!  I just wanted to pop in and share a quick Christmas layout I created featuring some wonderful Want2Scrap  products:  Fancy Chipboard Words and Bling!
The papers are from the Tidings Collection by Authentique Paper.  It is a really different kind of Christmas collection.  The papers have a kraft paper base that mixes well with the traditional reds and greens of the season.  What I really appreciate is that Authentique uses the same base colors every year.  What that means is that I can take this year's release and mix it with collections from years past!
I used one of the cute cut apart cards as a caption for the photo and then embellishedalong the bottom edge with a string of hearts ribbon.  I used self-adhesive red rhinestone bling from Want2Scrap to embellish my embellishment!  Next I covered one of the Fancy Chipboard Words with red glitter.
Here's a close up of a simple embellishment cluster above the photo.  It makes me giggle because it looks like the horns are coming out of his head!  (I guess he is a little naughty!)
Merry Christmas and I hope you find some time to play today!

Sparkle with Want2Scrap Baby Bling!

Hello everybody - Susie here today!  Are you ready to  make your mistletoe sparkle with Red Rhinestone Baby Bling from Want2Scrap?   Checkout the details on this winter themed layout I created using the Christmas Wonderland Collection from Carta Bella.  It is such a pretty mix of vintage, wintery images with traditional red and green - and a surprising amount of blue!  I fell in love with the Nature Sing paper and chose that as the basis of my layout, trimming 1/8" on all sides then centering it on black cardstock.  I adore the image of the small deer peering at his reflection!
Next I chose 3 coordinating pages from the 6x6 paper pad, matted them with black cardstock, and arranged them on the left side of the page.  I also matted my photos with black and trimmed out a few of the nature themed journaling cards.  I played with the placement until I was happy and then started to embellish.  Here you can see I layered some mistletoe stickers on top of a chipboard flag:
This little blue bird was practically begging for a front row seat on my layout so I popped him on with dimensional tape!  (grin)  I often embellish my embellishments and in this case I added a LOT of sparkle by adding Red Rhinestone Baby Bling on top of some of the berries.
This photo of my daughter with an arm full of snowballs and a mischievous expression deserved a Naughty sticker!
Everybody uses hashtags these days so I was really tickled to find these cute little dimensional stickers from Little B.  (The set also includes #Love, #Life, #Laugh and #Selfie.)  I added a die cut arrow - and done!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find some time to play today!  Susie
