Altered Bottle

Hello Want2Scrap friends, Lovita here!!
Today I have for you an awesomely altered wine bottle!

I started with a clean, empty wine bottle. I did not remove the bottle labels. I began by covering the exposed area of the glass with lace applique from my personal stash. I adhered it to the glass using Beacon Fabri-Tac glue. This glue is awesome for permanently adhering items to glass. I used Want2Scrap chipboard embellishments Style A, Stylish Key, Fleur de Lis and a Vintage Fancy Frame and painted them with Color Box Mix'd Media Inx - Leather using the Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool. The painted pieces were sealed using Mod Podge - Satin.

The Fleur de Lis and Vintage Fancy Frame chipboard items were glued to the bottle using Beacon Fabri-Tac glue. I bore a hole in the top of the cork large enough for part of the Style A chipboard bottom to fit inside snugly. It was then attached permanently using hot glue. The cork is wrapped with rhinestone chain. Jute twine is used as an accent on the Vintage Fancy Frame and wrapped around the top of the bottle opening with a little White Frizzly Yarn.

Want2Scrap Bulk Bling Pearls, 12" Sleek Strips Pearls and Swirls Finesse Pearls were used in the LeCreme color. The 12" Sleek Strips were placed around the perimeter of the label on the rear of the bottle and on the Stylish Key. I placed one Bulk Bling Pearl on the front and back of Style A chipboard embellishment. The Swirls Finesse and Bulk Bling Pearls were added to the Vintage Fancy Frame. Finally green flowers and turquoise mini roses were glued to the Vintage  Fancy Frame, Fleur de Lis and the rim of the bottle opening just above the Stylish Key.

HAPPY CRAFTING!
