Glamorous friend

Today I am saluting my many wonderful girfriends.  There is not a day that goes by when I don't find myself thinking "I'm so glad you're my friend".  Yes indeed, my life is full of lovely ladies and they deserve to be celebrated!
I was able to bring the bling to the cute papers and diecuts from the Girls Paperie using Want 2 Scrap Smokey Brown adhesive bling!   Oh my!  Isn't that pretty?  Well a girl does know that you ain't got a thing if it ain't got that BLING! ;)
Thanks for coming by today and hug a girlfriend today, won't you?

New Year's already!?!

Time flies when you are havin' fun!  Today I am here with an extra early New Year's card for 2011!

Whoa!  First Christmas in July, now New Years in August?  Well, before you think I am a super organized person, I want you to know that it was the new black swirl bling from Want 2 Scrap and the cute clock dies from the Girls Paperie that had me singing the Auld Lang Syne!  The black bling makes a perfect flight trail for my pretty Jenni Bowlin butterfly.

Isn't that bling delicious?!  I was able to cut apart the pieces I needed and adhere them in a fashion that suited my design.  SO cool!!

OK, off to wrap Christmas presents.....kidding! KIDDING! I haven't even started my list yet..thank goodness! Have a great day!

Want2Scrap and Bella Blvd Sunny Happy Skies!

I thought I would bring two of my favorite companies together today! I used Want2Scrap bling, acrylic, and a mesh butterfly as well as Bella Blvd's new release Sunny Happy Skies.

I think this is a great idea for a room decor project. I simply used some of my favorite summer photos, added a quote...and poured on some color with pattern paper and cardstock stickers by Bella Blvd.

These colors are the perfect compliment to the clean, clear acrylic sheets offered at Want2Scrap.

You have to love the bling and pearls too. They are such an easy way to embellish! Keep a close eye on the Want2Scrap blog, rumor has it there will be a DT call very soon...this is definitely a great team to be a part of.

Wish Big

Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing a Clean and Simple card, but dressed up with some bling! I followed Dana's que and decided to make a gorgeous flower as well. And to accent the pretty flower, I used Want 2 Scrap's Swirls in Silver Rhinestones!

I think they make such a lovely pair, don't you? :) This was so quick to put together, and I love the way the rhinestones laid themselves out perfectly on my card. Be sure and check out the Want 2 Scrap webstore for even more bling products! You just can't beat the price point AND selection!

Until next time...

Merci!

Hello! Bonjour!  Dana here with a card and a few tips I hope you will enjoy.
I started with this gorgeous (if I do say so myself) handmade shabby paper flower!  Yep, I made that flower myself!  Do I have any of you saying "HOW?" right now?  Well I can't take credit for the how but I can link you up!  You'll want to start with a terrific FREE cut file from Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs.  Once I had my flower ready I looked to Want 2 Scrap swirl bling in black as a chic and glittery flower stem.  TIP: Since bling comes on clear acetate sheets, it is easy to hold your bling over your project to see how it will look without worry of the bling accidentally sticking before you are ready.  A simple trick but SOOOO handy!
Another neat trick with acetate...stamping acetate (even a scrap that used to back my swirl bling as seen here) with Staz on allows you a wonderful freedom to layer in elements that would be near impossible to stamp clearly over the multiple surfaces I have above.  I was able to add this cute Eiffel Tower stamp from Stampin Up AFTER I had attached all of the other card elements.  In other words, I was caught in a "this needs something" moment and the Staz On on acetate technique saved my day!  I adhered the acetate piece with crystal effects.

Thanks so much for coming by today...or should I say "merci"?!
