Baby Album with Bling!

Susie here today with the perfect gift for a new mom: a baby album with bling!

My niece recently had a beautiful, brand new baby gift!  As a gift, I created an 8"x8" album using the Cuddle Girl Collection from Authentique.  Realizing that she is an exhausted new mommy, I made it super simple by putting a blank photo mat on each page.  All she has to do is print out a 4"x6"  and adhere it in place.  And then I made it super special by adding little bits of Want2Scrap bling to each page!  Have a look!

I tucked a piece of Swirls Finesse behind the tag on this page:

I used a tiny 3mm Light Blue Pearl in the center of flowers on this page:

St. Patrick's Day Mini Album

Susie here today with a mini-album full of pictures from our St. Patrick's Day celebration!

 I started with a 6x6 chipboard album and the Charmed Collection from Authentique Papers.

 

St. Patrick's Day celebrations are always special with our clan because we are celebrating my niece's birthday!  She was all decked out in green - clothes, jewelery and tattoos - so she was absolutely pinch proof! 

The Charmed Collection has all kinds of super cute embellishments that are perfect for a mini-album! I dressed up the shamrocks on this card with 3mm gems from the 72 Count Light Green Self Adhesive Rhinestones.  The pack contains 3 different sizes: 8mm, 6mm and 3mm.

I used the 72 Count Dark Green 3mm Rhinestones to accent this tab...

I used 72 Count Orange Rhinestones to add dimension to this little pot o' gold!

Love this picture of my daughter and I - she is my lucky charm!

There was much merry making, shenanigans and malarky!

  

And my husband is the gold at the end of my rainbow!

I love the 6x6 album size because I can cover 4 pages with one sheet of 12" scrapbook paper!  The Charmed Collection was fun to play with and provided me with all kinds of opportunities to layer on the bling!

Want2Scrap Swirls and More....

Hello Want2Scrap fans - it is Linda here, sharing a card using Want2Scrap pearls and bling - who said you can't combine them - I love the look!

Warning - this card is so simple you may find it hard to believe! wink:wink!

I have used patterned paper from Graphic 45 - adhering it to a white precut card base of 4.5" x 6" using double sided tape.

A cut/embossed Mary Border Strip has been popped onto the layered cardbase using 3D Foam Squares.  The lace flower has been adhered to the center of the Die Cut strip using liquid glue.

The Swirls Finesse - Silver Rhinestones have been cut to size and arranged either side of the flower, followed by White Pearls added along the filigree strip.

The Beautiful Bling Borders has been trimmed and adhered to each corner, with 72 Count - White pearls added to each swirl.

I told you it was easy - this card can be made for many occasions and modified for different preferences in style - it does not get much easier than that!!!

Purrr-fect Blinged Layout

Hello it is Linda here with a layout to share - of our beautiful half Rag-doll cat - Teisha.  If you are like us, our animals are part of the family - our fur-babies...and I love the fact that Want2Scap have the perfect bling for this.

I have used three photos and cut white borders for them, adhering them to the main patterned paper  with double sided tape.  Coordinating patterned paper has been adhered - slightly to the left and the photos stacked onto it, again using double sided tape.

The Paw Prints Bling - Silver Rhinestones are a real feature, added next to the sentiment created using Spellbinders: SR-011 Contour Type-Oh!  along with some alphas from my stash.

The Chevron Stencil  has been used in the top right-hand corner, along with some Gesso to create the textured chevrons.  A red button has been adhered, a sticker inside and a coat of Dimensional Magic for a glossy effect.  Random Stickers have been added down the left side of the main photo and a flower added to the center of the photos, with a button and Sleek Strip 6" White pearls

 bling added to the center.

March Planner with Want2Scrap

Hello friends, Katie here from Handmade by K8! Today I'm going to share my March planner spread with you! I bought this album a few years ago and finally pulled it out! I like that I can add a little layout next to the calendar...I can either highlight something that happened that month, journal or share my current favorite picture. My options are really limitless! March just happens to be when my youngest son's birthday is so I dedicated this month's layout to him!

 

I'll start with my layout side, which really came together quite quickly!  Since the background pages have lots of printed detail on them, I can keep my layouts rather simple.  After adhering the 4x4 project life "Lucky Me" card, I printed and adhered two 2x2 photos of Cody and me.  I used the white space off to the left to journal a bit about my son.  Next, I grabbed a Want2Scrap Arrow Charm and removed the bail with a pair of jewelry cutters and adhered it to the top right of the photos with a glue dot.  And to finish the layout off, I sprinkled some Want2Scrap Black Enamel Dots and Want2Scrap Black Baby Bling in a diagonal line, leading the eye from the journaling down toward the photos.

For my calendar side, I started with March 3rd, which is Cody's birthday.  I adhered a Want2Scrap Male Figure Charm, bail removed, with glue dots.  His party was on Saturday, so after nothing that in the block on the 5th, I added a sticker with pop dots pointing toward the party date!  My husband works part-time as a deputy with the Sheriff's office in our county so the gold stars represent dates he is scheduled to work.  And, of course, my kids enjoyed Spring Break this month too!  I jotted down a few appointments and things we have planned then added some alpha letters to the 27th to note Easter Sunday.  Before adhering the alpha stickers with foam tape, I  added the smallest circle from the Want2Scrap Pink Heart Circle Nestabling pack.  Last but not least, I added a strip of Want2Scrap Chevron Bling Border under the word March.

I'm curious...do you keep a planner?  What type/style do you prefer?  I love that when I'm done at the end of the year, I have a little book with all our dates and appointments along with some great memories from the year all organized into one place.  This way, I don't feel so obligated to keep a chronological album and I am more free with my scrapbook pages!

Hello it is Linda here with a card for you using one of the beautiful Want2Scrap Bling Borders - how pretty they are and can add so much to a card.  Combine this with some beautiful rhinestones and it does not get much better than this!

I have created this card based on a digital image, I am not sure where it is from but will come back and add the link when I find it.  Imagine Craft 'featuring' Tsukineko Memento Markers have been used to colour the image, which has been layered into the Spellbinders Labels One Nestabilities using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The Corners and Accents One flourishes has been added to the top and  bottom of the Labels One to create a frame.  This has then been adhered to the Green Labels One using double sided tape.

The layers have been adhered to a precut card base, with patterned paper cut slightly smaller.  Beautiful Bling Borders - Fancy Waves by Nina Brackett has been added along the top of the patterned paper.

Pink crochet lace is added along the lower edge and 72 Count -Silver/Clear Rhinestones - Self Adhesive have been added along the lace.  Bling on lace, whether it is rhinestones or pearls is always such a pretty additions - making the lace eye catching.
