Earlier in the month, I shared a project using Nestabling Pennants.

I didn't use all the sizes, so I had leftovers,

so I thought I'd trim those up and use them to

decorate this adorable cube.

I started by covering the cube with papers from Authentique.

I left the edges exposed, I thought the white was sparkly 

and reminded me of snow.

Have you seen any of that elusive stuff yet this season?

I saw a flake or too here in Minnesota. Not much though!

I colored and "dusted" Stylish Chipboard Alpha with Sugar Shimmer glitter

from ClearSnap [Donna Salazar]. This sparkly stuff is so cute, it comes in a salt shaker!

This little tree is from the train section at a hobby store.

I added some gesso "paint" and then

I decorated it with some buttons from Buttons Galore.

More buttons, held in place with some pins from Maya Road.

These sparkly poinsettias from Prima really finished off the piece.

The letters are super sparkly, but I still added some Baby Bling

to make sure they could really Bling in the SEASON right.

Saving Love Notes

I made a fun cover for a envelope filled with LOVE quotes. 

Some of these I find online, some I cut out, some I hear or read.

I am always finding loving words of wisdom, and I wanted a pretty way to store them.

I store this on my bulletin board, right in front of me at my craft table,

just like it's shown below!

I started by attaching a piece of patterned paper [Graphic 45] 

to some recycled chipboard cut from a cereal box and distressed it with 

a sanding tool [Bazzill] and some brown ink [Close to My Heart] 

and added some crepe ribbon [Creative Impressions] 

and a button [Buttons Galore]. 

I attached the button with some floral wire through two holes in the grunge paper.

I die cut the heart using Spellbinders dies, and the cut shape 

perfectly matches the Scalloped Heart Nestaboard, 

which I embellished with Pink Heart Nestabling. 

I added some flowers [gift from my friend, Trudy Sjolander]

using Beacon's 3-in-1 adhesive [Buttons Galore], 

some leaves [Prima] and some of Nina Brackett's Classy Corners - Elegance.

I LOVE Bling, and too much is never enough. 

I colored the beautiful Chipboard Dress Form with a Copic Marker

 and painted it with some Liquid Glass [Close to My Heart], 

then quickly dusted it with some glitter [Donna Salazar]. 

I want to say a special thanks to Donna for providing this 

in one of our Design Team packages. It's neat stuff, 

and comes in a salt shaker - brilliant! 

Underneath, I adhered some patterned paper [Authentique].

The LOVE is also colored with a Copic Marker, and embellished with Baby Bling - Brown.

Hello, friends. Nina here again on the Want2Scrap blog. I have been busy making Christmas cards and the Want2Scrap bling is just the perfect embellishment on my cards to highlight the holidays. I started with the fireplace image from The Craft's Meow's Hearth and Home stamp set. The little tag is from Spellbinders' Home Sweet Home dies set.

I highlighted the fireplace using the Beautiful Bling Borders-Fancy Waves! and Sleek Strips Silver Rhinestones- Self Adhesive. The papers are Carta Bella.

Nestabling Christmas tree

Hi all- AJ here with a fun holiday card to share using Want2Scraps Nestabling.

My card today uses the Nested Pennants in Lemon to create the tree top, and the
Lattice Rectangles Nestabling in Mocha Pearl to create the tree trunk.   Yellow wasn't quite the color I wanted for my tree, so I went another route to make it work!   I finished off the adorable reindeer with a small rhinestone from the 72 Count Red Rhinestones.

to color your Nestabling pearls, leave them right on the plastic backing, and use your favorite Alcohol based marker.  (You can also color on your clear rhinestones)

Bring in the Bling

I hope your Thanksgiving was great!

We do in our house, and if they look even remotely "Christmasey" - well,

let's just say...

THAT WON'T DO!

In the birthday girl's mind,

it's akin to cheating!

So, how about Black and Yellow?

and BUTTERFLIES?

and B L I N G!

I'm starting with some die cut circles, and some distress ink.

There's a hint of blue, just a little extra color.

I added sentiments.

I added butterflies. I sprayed these with some

sparkly goodness from Color Box, and added some Baby Bling ... B L I N G!

I put on Pennant Nestabling, created to perfectly

match Spellbinders Pennants!

I connected the pennants together with some 

buttons [Buttons Galore & More] and twine,

and some crepe ribbon.

I added some baubles to the bottoms,

because ...

you can never have TOO much B L I N G!

Am I right?

I want this to last, maybe use again, or hold up for display.

So, I'm thankful for NESTABOARD - I backed all

my pennants with matching board.

This Journey

Fall Recipes with Want2Scrap!

Hello Everyone Terre here with a Fall Recipe album, these Want2Scrap albums are fun, creative ideas to give as gifts. If you have a daughter, daughter-in-law or even just a special friend and maybe it is there first time cooking a Thanksgiving Dinner, wouldn't it be a great gift especially if you pass down some of your favorite family recipes. This adorable chipboard album is the Want2Scrap Grand Chipboard Album - Scalloped Squares perfectly matched to Spellbinder Grand die templates. I bet you even noticed those beautiful swirls.....they are my favorite I like all the colors they come in as they are just the perfect size! The ones used on this album are the Swirls Finesse - Brown Rhinestone - 2 Pack - Self Adhesive.

The chipboard letters are perfect size for both these mini albums as well as scrapbooking, Chubba Bubba - Chipboard Alphabet, don't you just love them!!! I inked the letters with Clearsnaps Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk.

I also used another new alphabet that Want2Scrap released as CHA, Chubba Bubba - Corrugated Alphabet

I used Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry to adhere all of my pages and alphabet letters to my pages.

Sweet and simple gifts

 

Hi there!  Any time is a great time to give some sweet and simple gifts to the gal pals in your life.  Today I'm sharing how I crafted up some simple tags that echo the vintage feel of these fun nail files I picked up at a local gift store.

 

Supplies gathered include bling and tags from Want2Scrap.  These are two of my go to basics!  I love to have these on hand.  Colorbox chalk inks in a variety of colors customize the backgrounds by inking straight on to the manila tags. 

 

Fabric glitter glue in silver is perfect to outline vintage photos for a glam feel.

 

Once the glitter glue dries, these simple tags start to pop with energy.

 

If you are a stickler for bling spacing, a t-ruler is a handy tool to have on your craft desktop.

Moments of Faith

One of the things I enjoy most is watching my children learn, grown, and absorb new information and experiences.  This photo reflects one of those moments, and the large Want2Scrap™ chipboard word gave the perfect emphasis to the sentiment in the photo.  I coated it first with gesso, then with Shimmerz Pearlz.  It took a few coats, but it ended up beautifully luminescent.  The bling that comes with these sentiments is perfect for embellishing them.

For my card, I used Want2Scrap's Lattice Rectangles Nestabling in Mocha Pearl to outline my card.  You can use the Nestabling designs with or with out the coordinating Nestabilities.  ;)  I finished off the sentiment with some Baby Bling Pearls in White.
